The Gospel Jesus Brought by Randy & Cheryl Heddings
It is common to think that Jesus preached Salvation, but he did not because He is the embodiment of Salvation. Jesus taught those around Him and those who came to Him about God and the Kingdom of Heaven. He taught them how to pray and taught that they should pray for convergence; that things on earth would become just as they are in Heaven.
The Gospel (Good News) that Jesus brought was that all people could be reconciled with God the Father through Him, God the Son. Jesus’ Gospel is that, through Him, people could be restored in every aspect of their life. Jesus told everyone to repent because the Kingdom of God was at hand. Jesus’ Gospel is indeed Good News! It sets us free from sin debt and allows us to commune with a Holy God, our Creator. Jesus’ Gospel brings hope, joy, and understanding, surrounded by peace. Jesus’s Gospel of the Kingdom was so important to Jesus, He spent the 40 days after His resurrection teaching the things of the Kingdom to His Disciples. As you read, The Gospel Jesus Brought you will enjoy the Good News and learn not only “who” you are but discover “whose you are!” |
