God's Love - Easter Poems by Richard I. Gold
GOD’S LOVE - EASTER POEMS
In John the Bible tells us that “God so loved the world of men that He sent His only Son that all men might be saved from their sins and not be condemned.” It is the love of God for men that we must believe and must love God in turn. The only choice is to be made in acceptance with God eternally or to suffer eternally. In this way God initiated Easter as a way to reach the world of men and to tell us what He wants for us, both the good and the holy. Easter is both a celebration and a commemoration of the life and death of one Man, Jesus Christ. These poems are a commendation of the life, teachings, death and resurrection of this Man and His influence on our life, on our society, on the world and on history |
