Susan M. King hails from Guyana, South America where she realized her early livelihood, education, and career aspirations before migrating to the USA. Growing up in a family with parents and siblings who did not attend college or university, Susan who brings a new voice to the writing world, describes the lived experiences in her debut that propelled her from humble beginnings to making a choice for higher learning fueled with a passion. She pioneered higher learning from undergraduate through post-graduate programs, detailing this educational trajectory while navigating challenges to reach the pinnacle of formal education, and becoming a first-generation learner in her family. Dr. King is a Management Professional with several years of practical experience having worked in private, public, and international environments. She is a mentor and coach who leads from a deep sense of purpose imbued with passion and motivates others to push themselves to transform their potential into realizations and to be the best version of themselves. At the very core, Dr. King finds ways to enhance the potential of those she leads to develop greater confidence in what they do and to apply this confidence in a way to create positive change in their personal and professional lives. Dr. King is an ardent believer and follower of Christ. She is the biological mother of two children and is favorably blessed with five grandchildren.
