Who We Are: J2B Publishing is an Indie Press, established in 2013, committed to publishing good books for young boys and girls, enjoyable poetry, personal testimonies, devotional works, and anything else we find interesting. Everything we publish is family friendly and Christian oriented.
Our Beginning: Our history begins in 1990 with me telling Uncle Rocky - Fireman stories to our two oldest children, Ben (6) and Luke (4) as I put them to bed. Uncle Rocky-Fireman began, for us, a father-son time that was great fun then, produces wonderful memories now, and is being happily carried into the future with our grandchildren. We wrote and illustrated the Uncle Rocky, Fireman stories in the hope that other parents would have the same fun with their kids as we did with Ben and Luke. Our Growth: With the steady growth of our picture book catalogue (Uncle Rocky - Fireman, Officer Jack, EMT Morales, Pete and Petey, Heroes of the Coast Guards) we realized we were publishers and distributors of "Good Books for Boys and Girls" and made that our mission statement. Our Promise: We promise that the picture books we publish will model families that like each other and enjoy doing things together because the parents are loving and kind and their children are caring and respectful. Our Hope: We hope you will enjoy our books to your children, for both the wholesome and helpful content of the text and the quality and beauty of the illustrations. |
The adult characters (Uncle Rocky, Fireman, Officer Jack and EMT Morales) in the "Glad To Do It!" Series place great value on public service and commitment to duty. Their humility when praised for helping others provides an example children enjoy emulating.
Our Future: J2B Publishing will continue to find authors of good books for boys and girls and provide them a platform to share their stories. I hope you will enjoy the works we publish. |
What Our Clients Are Saying"Jim, the books we purchased are quite worn now. Our boys really like them. They were impressed that we "actually" knew you. I will gladly review your new book....is it okay if I read it to the boys? Again, thanks for writing the books. Our older boys have ADHD and learning disabilities and your books kept their attention." |
